The journey from Geneva to St Martin de Belleville

Mountain Rescue starts your airport transfer on the A41 towards the beautiful town of Annecy, which is built in close proximity to an enormous lake, called Lac d'Annecy which is 14.6km long.

Our driver follows the road close to the side of the lake, which is a very beautiful part of the journey. The mountains rise up from behind the water.

Once past Lac d'Annecy we follow main road, reaching Albertville. We travel onwards to Moûtiers and it is here that we start our journey up the mountain to the village of St Martin de Belleville.

It is approximately 25 minute from Moûtiers, on a mountain road with plenty of switch backs.

At Geneva airport

At Geneva airport, once you have disembarked your plane, you are directed from the Swiss side of the international airport and you head towards French border control. Usually there is no hold up here.

About St Martin de Belleville

St Martin de Belleville is an unspoiled ski village in the Tarentaise valley with a close proximity to Les Menuires. The lift called the 'St Martin Express' is a 6 person high speed chairlift which links St Martin to the slopes of Méribel and Les Menuires.

Advanced skiers can enjoy the descent from the Roc de Fer, part of Méribel, to the village of Beranger. Intermediates can get stuck into the very enjoyable rolling blue and red runs such as the Jerusalam and the Verdet. Plus there is a nursery slope for beginners and gentle blue runs back to the village.
