Getting to Val d’Isère from Chambéry
Once you land at Chambéry Airport, one of our drivers will be waiting to meet you. Since the airport is small and parking is close by, you won't be waiting long before you're on your way.
Chambéry sits at 234 metres above sea level and is the closest international airport to the ski resorts of the Savoie area. From there, we head towards Albertville, home of the 1992 Winter Olympics.
Past Albertville, we follow the N90 towards Moûtiers, then on to Bourg Saint Maurice, the main town at the foothills of Tignes and Les Arcs.
Heading up towards Val d'Isère, the road passes Tignes Les Brévières first, then runs through tunnels alongside the lake created by the power dam overlooking Les Brévières. Once through the tunnels, Val d'Isère opens out ahead of you, ready for the slopes.
