The village has been developed over recent years and has kept a great feel and the beautiful 16th century church as the village’s flagship structure.
St Martin de Belleville was a farming village until the 1980’s when several chairlifts where added, linking it to the slopes of Méribel and Les Menuires.
The skiing is extensive being part of The 3 Valleys ski area and the village enjoys several long rolling local runs plus access to every type of skiing anyone could ask for.
The St Martin Express certainly speeds things up. The 6 person, high speed chairlift is 2404 metres in length and is a winner for this lovely resort.
Skiing experts will enjoy the large areas of off-piste as well as the descent run from the Roc de Fer, part of Méribel, to the village of Beranger.
Intermediates can get stuck into the very enjoyable rolling blue and red runs such as the Jerusalam and the Verdet.
There is a small nursery slope for beginners as well as a gentle blue to get first timers up and running.
