Geneva Airport to Les Arcs

Our friendly, uniformed Mountain Rescue driver will meet you in the arrivals area of Terminal 1 or 2. We have a designated meeting point for each terminal.

First, your journey to Les Arcs heads towards the pretty town of Annecy, which sits on the shore of the enormous Lac d'Annecy. The lake is known as one of the cleanest in Europe and, at 14.6 km long, it takes around 20 minutes to drive from one end to the other.

In fact, this is our favourite part of the trip. Our driver follows the road along the side of the lake, and in daylight you'll see the mountains rising up behind the water. We often choose this route over the toll roads because it's usually the fastest when there's holiday traffic.

Once past Lac d'Annecy, we follow the main road to Albertville. From there, we continue on to Moûtiers and then to Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

In Bourg-Saint-Maurice, we take the recently re-routed road that passes under the funicular. After that, we continue upwards towards the resorts of Les Arcs, and the climb normally takes around 20 minutes.

Don't worry about the mountain roads, though.  Our drivers are extremely conscientious, with years of snow-driving experience. What's more, every vehicle in our fleet is 4-wheel drive and fully prepared for Alpine winters.

How long is the transfer from Geneva Airport to Les Arcs?
The journey normally takes around 2 hours 45 minutes. On busy Saturdays in the school holidays, or in heavy snow, it can take longer. We keep an eye on traffic and choose the fastest route on the day.

Where will my driver meet me at Geneva Airport?
Your driver will meet you in the arrivals area of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. We have a designated meeting point for each terminal, and we'll send you the details before you travel.

Which resorts in Les Arcs do you drive to?
We take you door to door anywhere in Les Arcs, including Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, Arc 2000 and Bourg-Saint-Maurice. We also cover nearby Peisey-Vallandry, where our headquarters are based.

What happens if it's snowing?
Our whole fleet is 4-wheel drive and fitted with proper winter tyres. Our drivers live locally and drive these mountain roads every day, so snow is part of the job.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Are child seats included?
Yes. Infant seats, child seats and booster seats are all free of charge. Any child under 1.35 m needs an appropriate seat, so just let us know their ages when you book.

Can we stop at a supermarket on the way?
Yes, but supermarket stops must be booked in advance. Our usual stop is Super U in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, where you can even pre-order your shopping and collect it on the way.

What time will I be collected for my return flight?
We normally pick you up in Les Arcs around 5½ hours before your flight time. In busy weeks or bad weather we may collect you earlier, and we'll always confirm the time with you.

How do I book, and do I have to pay in full?

At Geneva airport, once you have disembarked your plane, you are directed from either terminal. T1 pease go direct to the Swiss side of the airport and T2 please head to the information area. We have a designated meeting point for each terminal.

Departure time from Les Arcs to Geneva will be around 5 and a half hours before your flight time.

This is subject to change on the busier weeks of the season such as school holidays or during bad weather conditions.

Any child under 1.35 metres (4ft 5in) must travel in an appropriate child seat in our vehicles.

In addition, Les Arcs is linked to Peisey-Vallandry and forms part of the Paradiski ski area. The famous Vanoise Express, a huge cable car, carries skiers across the valley to La Plagne.

With many runs above 2,000 metres, Les Arcs has some of the most reliable snow in the Alps.

What's more, Tignes and Val d'Isère are linked to form the Espace Killy ski area, so it's well worth a visit if you're feeling adventurous. Espace Killy is also known for great après-ski, with an abundance of restaurants to choose from.
