La Rosière resort guide
The station of La Rosière is located close to the Italian border and forms part of the L’Espace San Bernardo skiing area.
The area has an amazing snow record and continues to be a very popular resort with families.
La Rosière village itself is situated at 1850 metres and is a great place to stay with friends in one of the many English run chalets that are situated there.
This area is renowned for good snowfalls due to its position, as well as catching a good amount of sunshine as it is a south facing resort.

La Rosière also offers the chance to ski into the Italian resort of La Thuile as it crosses the French-Italian border. This has become a favourite spot for the adventurous heliski trips into the nearby off piste areas.
Awarded “Famille Plus Montagne” status by local French authorities, La Rosière has been recognised as a family friendly resort. There are lots of activities for children, such as weekly fireworks displays and candle lit descents.
Don’t think there is nothing for adults La Rosière - there are bars and evening activities for over 18s.
The Le Flocon is a bar with a bowling alley, pool table and regular live music. And there is The Moo Bar lounge and nightclub.
Transfers to La Rosiere will take about 2 hours 30 minutes from Geneva and about 1 hour 50 minutes from Chambéry.
