Chambéry Airport to Les Menuires

We're a local family team. We're based in the Tarentaise valley and have been driving these roads for over 15 years. Every driver works for us directly, with no agencies or subcontractors.

Four-wheel drive, every time. The road up from Moûtiers climbs steadily into the Belleville valley. Our minibuses are all 4WD on winter tyres, so snow doesn't slow us down.

Door to door. Most of Les Menuires is built around the slopes, and many apartments are ski-in ski-out. We take you as close to your door as the road allows.

Chambéry is a small airport, and you're usually through baggage reclaim in minutes. Your driver will be waiting for you in arrivals with a name board.

The evening before you fly, we'll text and email you the driver's name and number. Chambéry flights are mostly at weekends, so book your transfer as soon as you have your flights.

From Chambéry Airport, the motorway takes you quickly to Albertville, home of the 1992 Winter Olympics. From there, the road follows the Tarentaise valley to Moûtiers, the town at the foot of the Three Valleys.

Up the Belleville valley

At Moûtiers, we turn off and climb the Belleville valley, passing the traditional village of St Martin de Belleville. About 30 to 40 minutes after leaving Moûtiers, you reach Les Menuires at 1,850 m, with Reberty just beyond.

Saturday afternoons are the busiest time on the valley roads. An early landing at Chambéry is the best way to beat the traffic.

For your flight home, we'll usually collect you around 3 hours 30 minutes before take-off. We may come earlier in school holidays or bad weather, and we'll confirm the exact time by text the evening before.

Baby seats, child seats and boosters are free, and fitted before we meet you. Just tell us your children's ages when you book.

Supermarkets in resort are small and expensive. We can stop at the Carrefour in Moûtiers, right at the foot of the climb, so you can stock up for the week. Please book your stop in advance.

What is the closest airport to Les Menuires?

Chambéry. It's around 110 km away, about 1 hour 30 minutes by road. Geneva and Lyon are both around 2 hours 15 minutes or more.

Do you drop off in Reberty?

Yes. We drive to Reberty 1850 and Reberty 2000, as well as everywhere in Les Menuires.

Are there many flights to Chambéry?

Chambéry is a seasonal ski airport, with most flights on Saturdays and Sundays from the UK. Weekend flights fill up fast, so book early.

What if our flight is diverted?

In fog or heavy snow, Chambéry flights are sometimes diverted to Lyon or Geneva. We track your flight, so call our office as soon as you know, and we'll send your driver to the right airport.

Can you take a big group?

Yes. Each minibus carries up to 8 people with luggage. For larger groups, we send two or more minibuses, timed to travel together.

Les Menuires sits at 1,850 m in the heart of the Three Valleys, the world's largest linked ski area. It's one of the most snow-sure resorts in the area, and most of its accommodation is right on the slopes.

Reberty, just south of the main resort, is newer and quieter, with stylish apartments and chalets. Reberty 1850 was built in 1985 and Reberty 2000 in 1999.

Skiing the Three Valleys

From Les Menuires, you can ski to Val Thorens and down to St Martin de Belleville. From Reberty, the Bruyères lift takes you over the Col de la Chambre towards Méribel.
