Montchavin & Les Coches resort guide

The local lifts of Montchavin & Les Coches start at 1250 metres and elevate straight up to a very impressive 3200 metres.

There are 425 km of runs to enjoy over the complete Paradiski area, which is made up of La Plagne (including Montchavin & Les Coches ), Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry.

Montchavin and Les Coches are two lovely ski villages with a traditional unspoilt feel, nestled on the hillside close to La Plagne. They are joined directly to Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs by one of the largest single span cable cars in the world - The Vanoise Express. Many of the chalets enjoy direct access to the pistes.

Montchavin, situated at 1250 metres, has a real farming feeling about it with lots of charming buildings and places to stop for the odd vin chaud.

Just up from Montchavin is Les Coches. At 1450 metres it has great access to the pistes from many of the chalets and only a few lifts to be swinging up to some of the best off piste in the area.

Both villages have excellent ski schools and facilities for children and plenty of places to rest on your way home after a hard days skiing. There are plenty of quality English owned chalets here all with wonderful views across and the valley.
