Lyon Airport to La Tania

Getting to La Plagne

Once our driver has whisked you away from Lyon Airport you will be heading down the A43 on route for Chambéry you will then head on to the town of Albertville, the location of the 1992 winter Olympics.

Onwards from Albertville is Moûtiers and just before Bourg Sainte Maurice you will turn off for the resort. The road up the mountain has 21 bends and they are named and numbered for your entertainment!

Once you have pasted the Olympic bob sledge which is now a tourist attraction and well worth visiting you are almost there and counting down to number one bend which finishes pretty at snowy La Plagne 1800.

Mountain Rescue recommend you land relatively early in Lyon if travelling on a Saturday. This will help you avoid any traffic build up that usually occurs on the mountain roads later in the day. Departure time from any part of any part of La Plagne to Lyon will normally be around 5h 30 min before your flight time. This is subject to change.
