Mountain Rescue offers La Plagne transfers from Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery airports. The ski resort of La Plagne is actually spread over a large area including 11 smaller villages/areas. The highest village being Aim La Plagne located at 2,100 meters the lowest being the villages of Montchavin and Les Coches at around 1300 meters.

Resort guide

Its a lively resort with lots to do, plenty of skiing for all levels and has a large selection of apartments and chalets spread around the mountain side.

The highest point is on the Bellecôte at 3,250 meters. La Plange itself has 225 km’s of pistes on 134 slopes, 72 of them being beginner (blue) and 15 advanced (black).

La Plagne was part of the winter Olympics based in Albertville in 1992 and has the full bobsleigh track built for this special event. The bobsleigh track is still used regularly in international competitions and now days even holiday makers can get a taste. Try out the bobsleigh with either a 4 man vehicle that reaches 80km an hour or take the a Taxi Bob a single man jobbie that can reach almost 90km an hour, wooooo!!!
